What a week it’s been so far in Carnarvon! 🙌

What a week it’s been so far in Carnarvon! 🙌 I had the privilege of being part of the @_thebusinesssocial team at the Hospitality, Tourism, and Retail Forum, sharing insights on adaptability, innovation, training and skills development, and exploring alternative business approaches.

Making the most of the visit, Teegan 2 and I (while the other Teagan is off adventuring in Japan!) indulged in some of Carnarvon’s best coffee, breakfast wraps, lunch spots and treats for the road. We also took the chance to explore some must-see spots and connect with the local business community.

It was great to join the other key notes speakers, each an expert in their own field ~ Kelly the marketing guru from @australiascoralcoast, Cheryl from @tourismcouncilwa sharing her knowledge on sustainable business practices and Patrycja from the @townteammovement teaching us all how we help can participate in place making to create not just liveable but loveable ❤️ places. Although we all had our own subjects to speak on the underlying message from all was very similar, be collaborative, support each other and work together as a community.

Our message to Carnarvon’s business owners: the challenges you face—housing crises, rising operational costs, and the cost of living—are not unique to the region. It’s a reality for businesses everywhere. But with those challenges come opportunities, and navigating them will require us all to embrace change.
